Over the past five weeks, Return Path toured eight cities around the world to show how email marketers and security professionals, armed with the right data, can promote and protect their brand. Attendees were immersed in inspiration, education, and networking. I had the pleasure of speaking at the last stop on the Return Path World Tour (#RPWT) in Los Angeles.
Located at the Paley Center of Media in Los Angeles, CMO Scott Roth kicked off the Return Path World Tour with a keynote presentation discussing the importance of building deep connections with customers built on trust using data. Nick Badgett, Sr. Director of Regional Marketing, followed leading a lively and interactive panel with Return Path customers USAA, Coastal, and IRi discussing real issues and how they leverage data to solve their email marketing and security challenges.
Following the customer panel, attendees had a choice of breakout sessions, focused on either marketing or security content. Brian Westnedge, Sr. Director of Client Services held a breakout session on how to protect your brand and email program from phishing and fraud. At the same time, I held a session for email marketers sharing stories how our customers use data to make sure their messages reach the right place, at the right time with the right message. We ended the evening with rooftop networking event with spectacular views and weather that you can only find in Los Angeles.
